How to make a nomination
The award has been set up to enable the city council to recognise the outstanding contribution made by individuals (especially on a voluntary basis) to enrich the lives of local people in the areas of caring, commerce, environment, good neighbours, public service or sports.
The successful candidate will receive the award in January 2009 at an evening civic reception hosted by The Mayor in The North Warehouse. A commemorative plate and framed certificate will be presented in front of invited guests and councillors.
