Shopfront Guidance - Design Guidelines for Gloucester

The design of shop fronts is a key element in the character and appearance of any city. It is especially important in Gloucester, where the majority of City Centre premises are located in designated Conservation Areas. The design of shop fronts requires careful thought and consideration in order to ensure that a positive contribution is made, not only to the existing building, but also to the wider streetscene.
