Travel Concessions Home Page

Residents of Gloucester City who are aged 60 or over and/or are a qualifying disabled person are entitled to free bus travel in England. The scheme provides the qualifying applicant with a travel card. The card can be used on registered bus services at the following times:

  • In Gloucestershire between 9.00am and 11.00pm Monday to Friday
  • Outside of Gloucestershire between 9.30am and 11.00pm Monday to Friday
  • At anytime on weekends and bank holidays

In addition, if as a qualifying disabled person you need assistance to travel, then a travel companion may travel with you free in Gloucestershire. This will be identified on your travel card with a 'C' in the top right hand corner.
