GENERAL INFORMATION
Our Cinema programme combines the latest art-house releases, classic films and world cinema alongside the very best of the blockbuster bunch.
Smoking is not permitted at any film screening, nor is it permitted anywhere within the building.
Both of our Cinema screens are equipped with Dolby SR analogue sound systems. All of our 35mm cinema projectors have red LED reverse scan sound readers compatible with the new cyan sound tracks.
Most of our cinema screenings start at the advertised time with a short programme of advertisements and trailers that may last up to fifteen minutes.
All programme details may be subject to late change. Please contact the Box Office in advance to confirm that we are screening a film, and that tickets are available.
TICKET PRICES
Unless otherwise stated, a ticket will cost you £5.50, or £4.50 if you are a student, senior citizen, registered unemployed or are under 16.
Proof of status will be required when purchasing concessionary tickets, collecting ones purchased online, and may be requested when you arrive for the film screening.
Members of Gloucester Film Society may purchase tickets for non-film society films (subject to exception) for £4 on production of their membership card. This offer may not be used in conjunction with other offers. Film society members who have purchased tickets online must produce their membership card when collecting their tickets. This offer is only valid to personal callers at the Guildhall's Box Office who produce a valid membership card at the time of purchase.
SUGGEST A FILM
We welcome suggestions for films that we should consider showing at the Guildhall.
