Gloucester Guildhall looking for marketing interns
Fancy coming to work at one of the most exciting and innovative venues in the UK? Do you have an interest in marketing - what excites people, how best to communicate with them using different types of media, devising creative campaigns to promote events? Then you might be the person we're looking for.
Gloucester Guildhall is looking to recruit a couple of unpaid interns to assist the marketing team from early 2012. Jobs will include poster distribution, updating the Guildhall's online listings, copy writing, maintaining our social networks, devising and carrying out market research and playing a part in deciding the future of the Guildhall as a brand. Keen attention to detail, proof-reading skills, and above all enthusiasm and motivation are essential.
A driving licence and some basic Photoshop knowledge would be helpful, but aren't vital by any means.
Although these placements are unpaid, this will be a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team, working at an award-winning venue, and on projects covering a wide range of genres and disciplines. Whilst this might be be suited to students, we're happy to hear from anyone who might be interested, and can be flexible to suit any commitments you may have.
If you'd like to apply, please send your CV to us at booking@gloucester.gov.uk| before 5pm on Tuesday 20th December.
We'll be inviting people in for an interview in January.
