Folk Museum education building needs a name
The new education building currently being built at Gloucester Folk Museum is in need of a name. This exciting facility funded by Gloucester City Council and the Lottery will bring full disabled access to one of the museums most popular features, the Victorian Classroom, as well as providing a great space for school groups to congregate when they visit the museum for one of the many hands on sessions available.
Names currently being banded about are the Discovery Building and Hooper's house. If you have a better name then please contact the museum and let them know. The person who comes up with the name used will be given a free meal in the Folk Tea Rooms and a £10 voucher for the Folk Boutique. If a school comes up with the best name they will also receive a free session or loan box of their choice.
