About Neighbourhood Partnerships
Neighbourhood Partnerships: Giving local people a voice
Gloucester City Council has set up 9 Neighbourhood Partnerships (NPs) in Gloucester.
The first Partnership to launch was the Three Bridges (Tuffley, Podsmead and Grange) in 2001, followed by Kingsholm & Wotton and Wesgate (City Centre).
In 2007, partnerships were set up in Matson & Robinswood, Barnwood and Moreland.
Longlevens and Elmbridge Neighbourhood Partnership were launched in 2008. Barton and Tredworth was the 9th Partnership which was launched in April 2009.
They provide an opportunity for local residents to have a say and get involved in issues that affect their neighbourhood. By bringing agencies working in an area to focus on local priorities, they can have a positive impact on people’s quality of life.
