Outlines a blueprint for a better life in the 21st Century. All areas in the country (and in the world) have been asked to produce their own action plan on the best way to improve their quality of life, while protecting and improving the environment. In Gloucester, this is being done through Vision 21. It is led by the community with the backing of Gloucester City Council, businesses and voluntary organisations. Local businesses are increasingly integrating good environmental practice, such as waste reduction, into their activities and seeing the benefits in terms of increased competitiveness and reduced costs.
