Eastgate Market is situated in the heart of Gloucester. 

 

The Market opens six days a week - Monday to Saturday: 8.30am to 5.00pm

Entrance to the Market can be made through The Mall Shopping Centre via Eastgate Street and Southgate Street.  The Market can also be accessed via Greyfriars and Via Sacra. There is a roof top car park| accessible from Brunswick Road.

Letting A Stall
Stalls are available for let in Eastgate Market on a weekly basis for a three month period. The cost of weekly let is £150 per week payable in advance, inclusive of electricity, rent, service charge and business rates (prices will be revised April 2011).  During the three month period a weeks notice can be given by yourself at any time or by Market Management . 

After the temporary weekly let period, should you wish to trade on a permanent basis, you would be asked to apply for a stall license.

Stall letting Policy –The council consider it good management practice to have a wide range of quality goods and services in Eastgate Market to diversify the offer. This will be taken in to consideration when assessing your license application.

Many regular customers come from all over the county, to visit Gloucester City Indoor Market.

The majority of our traders have been with us for numerous years.  Most are local people who live within the City and are well known throughout the community.

Gloucester's Eastgate Market caters for all.  There is something for everyone.  An all year round grotto of fancy goods and gifts.  Gold and Silver jewellery, cards for all occasions, banners, balloons, specialised gifts, birthday, wedding and christening accessories, haberdashery, young peoples designer clothing, meats, fish and cheeses, a range of Mediteranean olives, herbs and spices.  Clothing, carpets, curtains, pet accessories, key cutting service and much much more.

Come and browse and stop for a chat, enjoy a coffee and a snack at the cafe.  There is a large range of hot and cold foods for sale, and all day breakfasts are available.

There is a large City Council seating area for you to either relax and enjoy your meal, or just take a break from the shopping.
