Butcher Paul Bickle typifies the standard of service we like to see provided by traders at our markets.
He is passionate about what he does and goes out of his way to provide a high level of service to his customers..many of whom have been with him for years.
And that's why we are featuring him as part of our 'Transforming Your City' campaign.
Paul does a 160 mile round trip from Coventry to ply his trade at the Hemsted Meadow market and car boot site.
He started at the former cattle market in Gloucester ten years ago and now operates a fleet of nine mobile shops which visit 40 markets across the country.
But Gloucester is Paul’s ‘baby’ and he makes sure that he comes in person.
Paul is one of more than 100 traders a month at the Hempsted Meadow site.
