There will be something for everyone in the City Centre on July 4th when Kings Square stages a 'Late Night Market'. A variety of food stalls, crafts, threading and head massage will be complemented by music and dancing and children's entertainment including face painting and balloon modelling.

A charter of King Edward 1 dated October 24th 1302, granted the rights to hold a market in the town. To run a car boot sale or occasional market within a radius of 6.1 miles of Gloucester Cross you need to gain permission from Gloucester City Council.
