Changes affecting planning advice
Please note that from Modnay 4th July 2011, duty planning officers will no longer be available to give general advice on Mondays to Fridays after 1pm.
Planning Officers will be available for meetings after 1pm but strictlyy by prior appointment only. A duty planning officer will also still be available to give general advice between 9am - 1pm on Mondays to Fridays.
The government has issued guidance on permitted development for Householders (Permitted Development for Householders – Technical Guidance (August 2010))| that gives an explanation of the rules on permitted development for householders, what these mean and how they should be applied in particular sets of circumstances. If you need any further information on the rules for permitted development you are advised to read this document.
New Planning Guidance
Micro Wind Turbines and Air Source Heat Pumps
Amended legislation to the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) Order 1995 to provide new permitted development rights for householders to install micro wind turbbines air air source heat pumps on premises came into force on 1st December 2011.
