Free Trees 2011

Gloucester City Council is committeed to working with residents and businesses to help address climate change. Planting a tree is one of the simplest things you can do to help. Trees soak up carbon dioxide and reduce the impact of extreme weather conditions. Trees are great at breaking up strong winds and can help reduce flash flooding. During a heat wave a city with trees is up to 4 degrees cooler than one without.

If you are interested in obtaining some trees please download the Free Trees 2011| leaflet and return to Justin Hobbs by 2nd December 2011. Alternatively email Justin Hobbs (justin.hobbs@gloucester.gov.uk|) with the information required on the leaflet. Please note that all trees must be preordered prior to collection and all trees must be planted within the Gloucester City administrative area.
