Welcome to the City of Gloucester

Overlooked by the Cotswolds Hills, in the lush Severn Valley, the city of Gloucester is perfectly located and easily accessible from all corners of the country.  Whether you're planning to bring your group for a day or longer, Gloucester is the ideal location.

The city has a unique history from its Roman Foundations to its Victorian Docklands.  A visit to the Norman Cathedral is a must, the world famous fan-vaulted cloisters are one of the locations of the movie 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.  The tomb of Edward II and the great east window are just a few of the delights inside.

Gloucester is a vibrant multi-cultural city, which combines historic architecture with a unique blend of visitor attractions, festivals and entertainment, a collection of high street and specialist shops and a mouth watering array of tea shops, restaurants, wine bars and pubs

Accommodation is varied and can cater for all tastes, from out of town to city centre hotels and from country clubs to modern business hotels.
