GRANTS AVAILABLE TO MAKE CITY BLOOM
|The deadline is approaching for entries for Gloucester in Bloom’s community challenge competition. Grants of £500 will be awarded to five winning projects for anything from annual hanging baskets or window boxes, to bigger schemes including low-level planting - for example movable planters.

There will be a number of arts and crafts opportunities available during the Tall Ships Festival running from 29-31 May across the city.

The Gloucester in Bloom competition has a new lead sponsor for 2009 – Enterprise PLC. This year Gloucester is hoping to receive a gold medal in the Heart of England in Bloom Awards for the fourth year.
