The Countryside Unit runs a city-centre farm in St James Street, where children (and adults) can experience the sights and sounds (and smells!) of the countryside in the inner city. Volunteers help to feed and muck out a range of farm animals including several rare breeds.

You can even visit local celebrity Snowy| , the orphaned chick.
