Blue Badge Parking
Blue Badge holders can park free of charge for up to 3 hours in all council car parks.
Automatic Number Plate Registration (ANPR) car parks
Blue Badge holders can sign up to get 3 hours of free parking, with automatic entry, to the city council’s ANPR operated car parks at Eastgate rooftop and Kings Walk.
How do I get my permit?
Your permit is issued in the form of a chip which sticks to your Blue Badge. To get your chip, you'll need to sign up and register your Blue Badge online. You'll also need to upload a picture of your Blue Badge.
Chip and registration will expire the same date as the Blue Badge. A new application will have to be made on expiry of your Blue Badge.
