Gloucester Antiques and Collectables Fair
Saturday 31st May & Sunday 1st June


Gloucester Antiques CentreVisitors to the Gloucester will discover a wide range of antiques and collectables on sale, including furniture, jewellery and china, print, clocks and collectables such as model trains, stamps and coins. “Roses and Castles” will be holding workshops which will enable to visitors try canal art painting and take home their creation.

The BBC will be filming two episodes of Bargain Hunt at the fair. More

Gloucester Cricket Festival
Friday 30th May to Monday 2nd June


Enjoy first class cricket in the shadow of Gloucester Cathedral at Archdeacon Meadow. This year's LV County Championship Match will see Gloucestershire County Cricket Club play against Warwickshire County Cricket Club at Archdeacon Meadow. 

The match is scheduled to last 4 days from Friday 30th May to Monday 2nd June.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday tickets available from Gloucester Tourist Information Centre in person or by phoning 01452 396572. Monday tickets available on the gate.

Gloucester to host Ireland Rugby International

Ireland will warm up for their summer tour of New Zealand and Australia by playing the Barbarians at Kingsholm, home of Gloucester Rugby Club on Tuesday 27th May.

Barbarians Invited include Josh Lewsey, Stephen Larkham and many more top international stars.  The Ireland squad will include: Brian O'Driscoll, Shane Horgan, Andrew Timble and Paul O'Connell.

Take this opportunity to see international rugby at one of the most atmospheric rugby grounds in the country.

Gloucester Tall Ships Festival sails in to the finals

The team who organised the city’s first ever Tall Ships Festival have been selected as finalists in a prestigious national competition - The Local Government Achievment Awards.

The festival was organised in just eight weeks and was hailed as a great success – attracting some 20,000 visitors and boosting the local economy by around £1 million. Search for Events.
