The Welfare Benefits Take-up Campaign run by Gloucester City Council is in its sixth year and has been going from strength to strength. It has helped a lot of people claim the benefits that they have been missing out on and has generated a minimum of £2 million to the people of Gloucester City. The aim of the campaign is to alleviate poverty in the City and to increase income levels in the poorest households in the City.
The campaign has been successful in helping people claim Disability Benefits and this has included Disability Living Allowance and Attendance Allowance. Also in the past we have helped with Pension Credit, Working Tax Credit & have been doing a serious of Benefit Health Checks.

The Welfare Benefits Take-up Campaign in partnership with the Pension Service hold a benefit advice surgery every Thursday between 1:30pm - 4:00pm, at the Trust Centre, Conduit Street, Gloucester. All information is treated in the strictest confidence.
