Market Celebrates 50th Anniversary
Wednesday, October 31 will see Eastgate Indoor Market marking its 50th anniversary.

The market will be celebrating the occasion by playing music from 1968 and visitors will also be able to enjoy songs performed by a local musician.
In addition, there will be lots of photographs on display from past anniversaries and traders will be dressing their stalls, with a trophy being awarded to the best dressed stall and runner up.
Visitors will be able to stroll down memory lane and watch old footage of the market being played at Eastgate Indoor Market’s very own pop up cinema, located at the back of the market.
Pershore Foods have also sponsored a 50th birthday cake and town crier Alan Myatt will be spreading the good news about the anniversary on the day.
The Market Café will also be offering afternoon tea plus there’ll be a trail around the market for families to enjoy and many traders will be offering special discounts.
