Gloucester Shopmobility receives kind-hearted donation
Long-term customer kindly donates a fabulous three wheeled rascal scooter to the city council’s Shopmobility service.

Gloucester Shopmobility has received a kind donation of a three wheeled scooter in immaculate condition from the family of local resident Mrs Shirley Robinson, who unfortunately passed away earlier this year.
Mrs Robinson a regular customer at Gloucester Shopmobility has also generously left a cash donation to the service in her Will.

Once the scooter has been serviced, it will be included to the fleet as Scooter 17 – the same number Mrs Robinson always requested when visiting Shopmobility to book her vehicle.
Cllr Jennie Watkins, cabinet member for communities & neighbourhoods, said: “I would like to send my sincerest condolences to Mrs Robinson’s family during this difficult time. We are extremely grateful for Mrs Robinson’s generous donations; and I know our Shopmobility service will make good use of her scooter.
“I’ve been told Mrs Robinson was a very friendly character and always had a cheeky smile on her face. We have a great team at Gloucester Shopmobility and it’s wonderful that our staff are thought of so highly by our customers. I know the staff will miss Mrs Robinson and her visits very much.”
