Where is the site?
David Hook Way
The new site is off the new length of by-pass at Hempsted. It's about a mile and a half to the South of the City Centre.
What is on site?
400 hard standing pitches and 200 grass pitches with around 400 free parking spaces, and additional informal parking during the dry summer months. This will operate on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. There is a bus service to the site, together with cycle and pedestrian links. The bus service is service number 14, and on the outward journey the bus goes down into the site using the onsite stop. On the inward journey the bus stops at the pelican crossing and there is then a short walk down David Hook Way to the site. The site is also fully available to the disabled. Ample secure cycle and motor-cycle parking is provided on site as well. The plan shows the market layout.
