Cemetery and Cremation information

Gloucester Crematorium staff are working together with funeral directors to ensure we keep the cremation and burial services running, immediate family only will be able to attend funeral services but will be required to observe social distancing throughout.

Webcast facility is available both live and as a keepsake for family members who cannot be present.

The Crematorium will be open for funeral services to take place and immediate family members to attend, our condolences go out to all families that may be affected.

The book of remembrance room will remain closed until further notice

The cemetery grounds will be open from 8:00am until 6:00pm 7 days a week, we ask that 2-metre social distancing is taken into consideration when visiting a loved one.

If you have any symptoms of Covid –19 we ask that you do not enter the cemetery and crematorium grounds. Do not leave your home if you have coronavirus symptoms

Do not leave your home if you have either

  • a high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
  • a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)

The office is closed to public, but our phone lines are open from 10am to 4pm

The Arbor hospitality suite will remain closed until further notice
