Additional waste capacity

In certain circumstances we are able to authorise extra capacity for a limited period of time for households that:
- Consists of 6 or more occupants registered at the property
- Includes 2 or more children under the age of 3 in nappies
- Includes one or more residents with special health needs

Before applying:
- Residents need to be fully recycling (minimum of 2x recycling boxes, 1x blue sack and set of food caddies). If you do not have the minimum amount of recycling containers your application will be declined.
- Residents will need to show they are fully recycling by attaching photos of the recycling they presented on their most recent collection day (with lids removed so the recycling can clearly be seen). If photos are not attached with your application it will be declined.

Please complete the waste assessment application form. You may email the completed form back to us.

Each completed form we receive is reviewed on a case by case basis, you should receive either a decision or correspondence from us within 6 weeks. Some may take longer to review if more information or a site visit is required. Until a decision is made it is residents responsibility to manage their waste.

If you're having problems managing your waste and do not meet the above criteria please ensure you are making full use of the weekly recycling service.
