Assisted collections

If you have mobility difficulties or an impairment that means you are unable to carry containers to the kerbside, and there is no one in your household who can help, we can arrange free assisted collections for your recycling and refuse from an agreed location.

To apply please complete the assisted collection form and return.

This service is not available to

  • Residents that use communal bin stores (unless a site visit has been carried out by our waste contractor)
  • The original person who applied for an assisted collection is no longer living at the property

We may ask for proof of eligibility and we reserve the right to suspend or withdrawn this service at any time although we would notify you if the service was to be withdrawn.

You will need to ensure the collection crew has access to your containers from 7am on the day of collection. If they are unable to gain access, then there will be no further collection until your next scheduled collection day.
