Bin collection updates
Waste guidance for people with confirmed or possible coronavirus (COVID-19) infection
Personal waste (such as used tissues) and disposable cleaning cloths need to be stored securely within disposable rubbish bags. These bags should be placed into a second bag, tied securely and kept separate from other waste in the house in which you are self-isolating. Keep aside for at least 72 hours before putting into your usual grey wheelie bin.
Recycling, food and garden waste can be presented as normal.
Please present all items for 7am on the scheduled collection day. Even if the crews normally come later. Recycling may be collected by different vehicles throughout the day, please present your items as normal and leave them out until they have been collected.
Recycling collections are taking place as normal. To assist our crews please continue to sort your recycling, more information can be found below. For health and safety reason and to minimise risk to our crews they will not be handling any loose recycling, all items should be in a container.

Garden waste collections
To make sure we can still collect your residual, food waste and recycling, it's likely we'll need to stop collecting garden waste.
We will try to collect Garden Waste when resource allows. We are asking residents to present their garden waste bin as normal on the scheduled day and we will endeavour to collect it. We are also sorry to say that crews will not be returning for missed collections.
As there will be a disruption to the garden waste service, existing subscribers will have the service extended from 1 October 2020 to 1 February 2021 at no cost.
Bulky items collection service
The Bulky item collection service has been suspended until further noticed. Any bookings that have already been arranged will be collected.

Please make sure your Garden Waste bin is presented with a valid sticker. Bins presented without a sticker will not be emptied.

Please note: we can only accept missed collection reports after 4pm on the day of collection and reported by 4pm the following working day. (For example if your scheduled collection is on a Monday you have from 4pm Monday until 4pm Tuesday to report the missed collection).
