Cooling Tower Register
All premises with cooling towers and evaporative condensers must register with the local authority under the Notification of Cooling Towers and Evaporative Condensers Regulations 1992.
The main reason for this is to identify potential areas that could give rise to infectious disease such as legionella and to ensure preventative measures are taken to eliminate the risk of such infection arising to employees and the public.
If you have any queries about the listed premises within the city of Gloucester that have notifiable devices in operation or wish to notify the council of new or closed plant you can contact the Community Wellbeing team via 01452 396396 or by emailing: email@example.com (you'll need to copy and paste this link into your email application).
