Halloween 2020 at the 'Museum of Ghoulster'

Head down to the Museum of Ghoulster, where you’ll be in for a ‘gourd’ time this Halloween! 

When and where? 

This October half-term, the museum transforms into the Museum of Ghoulster, with special partners Black-Frighteners Priory and Ghoulster Guildhall, for family-friendly Halloween trails, food and films - running from Saturday 24 to Saturday 31 October 2020. 

What’s happening? 

These spooky strolls will take you around the museum, before heading out into the city and finishing up at Blackfriars Priory for Halloween Hot chocs with all the trimmings! Extend your stay with us by purchasing tickets to the daily 4pm family-film, Onward, at the Guildhall... 

So why not put on your best creepy costume and join in the fun! There will also be a Murder Mystery night at Blackfriars on Saturday 31 October plus a one-off ‘Shaun of the Dead’ screening at the Guildhall.)  

The important bits 

All trail bundles are available to start between 10am and 2pm daily (hot choc option available at Blackfriars between 11.30am and 3.30pm) and take roughly 1-2 hours depending on your little people! There are trail, hot choc and film deals available if booked in advance, with general admission costing from only £3 per child (under threes go FREE!) Everyone is encouraged to dress up in their best Halloween outfits - grown-ups too! 

Please note: We are closed Sunday 25 and there are no cinema screenings on Saturday 24. 

Dates and pricing

  • Trail only: £3 per child (includes goody bag). Under 3’s FREE!   
  • Trail & Hot choc: £5 per child (includes goody bag and a delicious hot chocolate with all the trimmings) *a saving of £0.50 per ticket 
  • Trail, Hot choc & cinema: £10 per child *a saving of £1.50 per ticket (£6 per adult for cinema ticket.) 
  • Cinema hot food add-ons: Hot Dog (£2.50) and loaded Nachos (£5)
