Make a comment
The Council is required to consider all comments made on a planning application as being ‘public’ and they will therefore be published on our website. We will endeavour to obscure phone numbers, e-mail addresses and signatures (but not addresses) although we cannot guarantee these will be redacted in every case. Your letter or e-mail will be scanned and presented in its entirety and will therefore be available to be viewed by other people. In exceptional circumstances the Council reserves the right to redact some or all of the comments, particularly if they are of an inflammatory, derogatory or libellous nature. To ensure your comment is valid you should include, the planning reference number, your name, your full postal address and your comments. Unfortunately the Council cannot enter into dialogue regarding individual cases and as such your comments must be self contained, and any questions that are raised in your response will be treated as being rhetorical. For a comment to be considered valid, it should refer to appropriate planning considerations.
Comments submitted will be made available online to the public.
