How to vote

If you are not already registered, your registration must reach us by 12 midnight on Tuesday 7 May. Click here to register to vote.

To vote by post at this election, your application must be received by 5pm on Wednesday 8 May. Click here to apply for a postal vote.

To vote by proxy at this election, your application must be received by 5pm on Wednesday 15 May. Click here to apply to vote by proxy.

 IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR EU NATIONALS

If you’re a citizen of a European Union country (other than the UK, Republic of Ireland, Malta and Cyprus), you can either vote in the UK or in your home country. You can’t vote twice.

To vote in the UK, you need to:

  • be registered to vote
  • complete a form stating you wish to vote in the UK and not in your home country. You can find this form here. It must be returned to Herbert Warehouse, The Docks, Gloucester GL1 2EQ by midnight on 7th May.
