The Arbor closure
The Arbor is currently closed today (26 April) but will be open as normal on Monday 29 April. We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
Green Lane Nature Reserve
Traditionally managed grassland with bordering trees and hedgerows. Interesting collection of wildflowers including a large array of pyramidal orchids can be seen June/July.
The entrance to Green Lane Reserve is located off Laxton Road. The reserve is opposite Hucclecote Meadows SSSI (what3words ///trim.jets.intervals) (grid ref: SO872164)
Who looks after Green Lane Reserve?
Gloucester City Council's Countryside Unit is responsible for the management and maintenance of the reserve.
Friends of Hucclecote Meadows
The Friends of Hucclecote Meadows hold a work event on the 2nd Friday of each month to assist the Countryside Rangers with management of the Hucclecote Meadows and Green Lane Reserve.
