Supporting people strategy

The Council works in partnership with Gloucestershire County Council and the other districts of Gloucestershire to provide services to help rough sleepers and homeless households. Gloucestershire County Council, through their Supporting People Team, administer funding in the form of Supporting People Grant, to registered providers, voluntary groups and private organisations to provide housing related support to those in need. More information is available from the Supporting People page of the Gloucestershire County Council website.

Gloucester City Council and the other districts of Gloucestershire operate a Re-connection Policy to assist people moving around Gloucestershire to access support services by recognising the connection to the district they were living in before accessing support.
