Gloucester City Council is encouraging residents to have their say on the council’s draft community engagement strategy.

The draft strategy will advise residents what they can expect from the council in terms of consultation and engagement exercises.

We want to hear from local residents, to help ensure our strategy includes new methods for engagement to reach a wider audience, that better represents the people of Gloucester.

Cllr Raymond Padilla, cabinet member for communities and neighbourhoods, said: “The draft strategy is an important document that sets out how the city council plans to engage with Gloucester residents over the next few years and beyond. I would really encourage residents to get involved with the consultation and let us know their thoughts.”

The consultation will close on Monday 31 October. The online survey is available here.

Local residents are also encouraged to join a research panel to have more involvement in creating the draft strategy.

Further details on how to join the research panel is included in the online survey.
