Historic Community Grants

Gloucester City Council is committed to supporting the Voluntary and Community Sector within Gloucester. One of the ways in which we do this is by awarding grants to organisations who meet the set criteria and are successful in their application. We have been giving out funding to organisations for over 16 years.

We are pleased to announce that as from Thursday 22 June 2017, the application process for Community Grants is now open. Please read through the guidance and conditions notes, complete the application and email to grants@gloucester.gov.uk. The closing date for all applications to be considered is Thursday 31st August 2017. We look forward to hearing from you with your fantastic project ideas!

The projects and groups supported are detailed here.

Events Grants

We awarded events grants to community groups between June and October 2015 to celebrate the Festival of Rugby. Many fantastic events happened as a result, from Rugby taster sessions to salsa dancing in the City Centre. Read more about the funding awards.
