Bins for New Build Properties

Before we can deliver containers to new residential properties, our waste and recycling contractor (Ubico) needs to visit the site to agree for collections to be carried out. The developer needs to request a site visit for single or multiple residential properties.

Any waste generated by residents where a site visit has not yet taken place will be the responsibility of the developers until collections are agreed and in place.

Once collection points have been agreed:

• If the contractors come across issues that prevent them from carrying out collections, they will make 3 attempts to contact the developer. After the third attempt if there is no response, all collections will be withdrawn from the date given in the third contact and containers from residents may be removed.
• If the contractors cannot collect due to blocked access, they will make 1 further attempt. If they still cannot gain access, it will be down to the developers to assist residents to dispose of their waste and ensure access is clear for crews on collection days.
