Alterations to rear of property:

  • A photo from the middle of the garden showing the entire rear of the application property
  • A photo from the same location, facing slightly left to include half of the application property and half of the neighbour. If there are trees or hedges screening the neighbour from view, it will be necessary provide a photo without the tree/vegetation screen
  • The same for the right
  • A photo down either side of the property showing any side facing windows on each neighbouring property (where applicable). It would also be helpful to provide a list of the rooms that each of the side facing windows relate to.
  • A photo slightly over the fence of both neighbouring properties to show their garden (the immediate area to the back of their house)
  • A photo of the front of the house from the street

 

Alterations to side of property:

  • A photo down the left of the property which shows the relationship between the application property and its non-attached neighbour (where applicable)
  • The same for the right (where applicable)
  • A photo down either side of the property showing any side facing windows on each neighbouring property (where applicable). It would also be helpful to provide a list of the rooms that each of the side facing windows relate to.

 

Alterations to front of property:

  • A photo of the whole property from the street
  • A photo from the same location, facing slightly left to include half of the application property and half of the neighbour
  • The same for the right
  • A photo down either side of the property showing any side facing windows on each neighbouring property (where applicable). It would also be helpful to provide a list of the rooms that each of the side facing windows relate to.

 

It is recommended that photos are saved as a pdf to reduce file size.

If requested, photos can be held on the planning application file as sensitive information and so as to not be available for public viewing.
