Non-recyclable waste

Your non-recyclable black bin waste is sent to Gloucestershire's "Energy from Waste" facility - Javelin Park.

Please make sure you only put non-recyclable waste into your black bin.

Most household waste can be recycled, so please make sure you're using your green recycling boxes, blue sack and food waste caddy.

Recycling

None of the recycling collected in Gloucester City goes to landfill. It is all collected, sorted and sent off for further processing at various plants around the UK.
