If you find used syringes or drug paraphernalia, you can report it on FixMyStreet or by phone, 01452 396396, so our waste and recycling team can dispose of it safely.

Rough sleeping

Rough sleeping includes sleeping outside or in places not designed for people to live in, such as cars, doorways and empty buildings.

Rough sleeping is not illegal. The council will work to engage with and support people who are sleeping rough. We will not take enforcement action unless there is evidence of anti-social behaviour.

If you are worried about someone sleeping rough, make a referral through StreetLink so the council and outreach services can offer support.
