Tackling anti-Social Behaviour
In an emergency
Call the police on 999 if:
- there is an immediate danger to life
- someone is using violence or threatening to be violent
- a crime is happening right now, such as a burglary or theft
- the suspect is still at the scene
What is anti-social behaviour (ASB)?
ASB covers a range of harmful actions that can have a negative impact on individuals and the wider community.
The law defines ASB as 'behaviour by a person which causes, or is likely to cause, harassment, alarm or distress to persons not of the same household as the person'. It can also be behaviour that is unreasonable, or that harms the quality of life of the local community over a long time.
We work with the police and other organisations to deal with ASB and make Gloucester
safer to live in, work in and visit
